At the beginning of 2019, Jürg Siegrist founded the youth choir of both Basels with younger colleagues from the choral scene and at the same time became musical director of the choir association of both Basels. In the same year, he and his colleagues received the Canton of Baselland's Jubilee Culture Prize for his work as choir director at the Muttenz Gymnasium. Recently, Jürg Siegrist has been involved in the project "Culture Church Paulus " for a stronger networking of the choral scene.
